FedHR Navigator is the self-service HR portal for federal employees. Access your pay information, manage leave, enroll in benefits, and handle personnel actions all in one place.

What Is FedHR Navigator?

FedHR Navigator is the federal government's human resources management system, providing employees with self-service access to essential HR functions. As a CDC federal employee, you use FedHR Navigator for a wide range of tasks — from checking your pay stub to enrolling in health benefits.

The system is managed by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and is accessible through a secure web portal. You will need your government credentials to log in.

What You Can Do

FedHR Navigator provides access to the following key HR functions. Familiarizing yourself with these features will help you stay on top of your employment information.

Leave Requests

Submit, track, and manage annual leave, sick leave, family medical leave, and other leave types. View your leave balances and history.

Benefits Enrollment

Enroll in or make changes to your Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB), dental and vision plans, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), and life insurance during open season or qualifying life events.

Pay Information

Access your earnings and leave statements, view tax withholding information, update direct deposit details, and review your pay history.

Personnel Actions

View your Standard Form 50 (SF-50) notifications of personnel actions, review your position description, and access your official personnel folder.

How to Access FedHR Navigator

From Your Government Computer

Navigate to the FedHR Navigator portal using your government web browser. Log in with your PIV card or government credentials. The system is accessible from any HHS-networked computer.

Remote Access

If you are working remotely or need to access FedHR Navigator from a personal device, connect through the approved VPN first. You will still need your government credentials or PIV card reader to authenticate.

First-Time Users

If you are a new CDC employee or have never accessed FedHR Navigator, contact your servicing HR office for initial setup assistance. You may need to register your account and set up multi-factor authentication before your first login.
